Lawyer: NFL drug czar didn’t tell players about pills
The lawyer for three New Orleans Saints players facing suspension said Wednesday the NFL’s independent drug administrator acknowledged he did not inform NFL players that the supplement StarCaps contained a banned diuretic. During the players’ appeals hearing, attorney David Cornwell said that Dr. John Lombardo’s testimony proved none of his clients - Deuce McAllister, Will Smith or Charles Grant - took steroids.

NFL reinstates Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones
The NFL is giving Adam “Pacman” Jones another chance. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday the suspended cornerback has been reinstated by league commissioner Roger Goodell, but will not play this Sunday or the following game on Thanksgiving. That would peg his return for Dec. 7 at Pittsburgh. Jerry Jones said Adam Jones could return to practice Monday.

Goodell shouldn’t give Pacman 2nd chance this year
By foolishly reinstating chronic delinquent Adam Jones, Roger Goodell has made him the NFL’s problem again, Alex Marvez says.
