Dolphins suspend DT Soliai again (AP)
Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Paul Soliai was suspended for the second time this season for an unspecified violation of team rules. Soliai will not play Sunday when the Dolphins visit the St. Louis Rams. He also missed a game against the Baltimore Ravens last month. The 6-foot-4, 355-pound Soliai, who’s in his second NFL season, is the backup to nose tackle Jason Ferguson.

Steelers RB Parker could play Sunday (AP)
Steelers running back Willie Parker practiced for the second successive day Friday despite left knee inflammation and could play Sunday at New England. Parker is listed as questionable; Steelers players who practice on the Friday before games usually play. Parker, a three-time 1,000-yard rusher, recently missed five games in a six-game span with knee and shoulder injuries.

Colts S Sanders to miss game vs. Browns (AP)
Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders will miss Sunday’s game in Cleveland against the Browns because of his ailing right knee. Last season’s NFL defensive player of the year did not make the trip to Cleveland. Sunday’s game will be the third straight game that Sanders has missed. He missed five games earlier this season with a high ankle sprain.

Redskins LB Fletcher’s streak may end (AP)
London Fletcher was one of three Redskins defensive starters unable to practice Wednesday because of foot injuries, putting the middle linebacker’s streak of 130 consecutive NFL starts in jeopardy. Fletcher sprained his foot in last week’s 20-17 victory over the Seahawks and is wearing a walking boot.

Alexander was signed Oct. 14 after backup Ladell Betts sprained his knee in a loss to the St. Louis Rams. Betts has since returned and resumed the No. 2 role behind NFL leading rusher Clinton Portis.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting pretty good at rallying against bad teams after digging big holes. Tampa Bay fell behind the winless Detroit Lions by 17 points, then scored five unanswered touchdowns en route to a 38-20 victory Sunday. The Buccaneers came back from a 24-3 deficit two weeks ago against the lowly Kansas City Chiefs and won in overtime.

He caught the ball and turned upfield, getting pushed out of bounds after a 52-yard gain. Then he kept going, drawing more attention. With all eyes and TV cameras on him, Owens stretched his arms out to form a T, then curled them over his head to form an O.

Portis questionable for game vs. Seahawks
Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis was limited in practice Friday with his sprained knee and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Coach Jim Zorn said Portis will be a game-time decision, although Portis has given every indication that he will play. He ran for 68 yards on 15 carries in last week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys despite not practicing at all. “Clinton is game-time because he’s really not full speed,” Zorn said.
